DONE IS DONE

Sharpen Focus in the Last Mile

Are you taking the actions that are necessary to wholly and completely finish in your Life or are you losing focus in the last mile and missing out on the full value that you’ve worked so hard to achieve?

"The first virtue in a soldier is endurance of fatigue; courage is only the second virtue."

– Napoleon I [Napoleon Bonaparte] (1769-1821)

[1] The last mile of any effort is many times the most challenging stretch of the journey. As we near the completion of any ascent and the pinnacle starts to feel like it’s within reach, we will often relax our focus and our effort, as success appears to be inevitable.

[2] This is a dangerous choice that often leaves us with straggling tasks that never get completed and come back to demand time and resources we don't have to give.

Weak finishes are the work of Lower & Less; weak finishes seed anger, frustration, and irritation; weak finishes seed Pain.

[3] As far as Highest & Best goes, done is done. It’s in the last mile of the ascent that the air is thinnest, it’s in the last mile of the ascent that we must sharpen our focus not relax it. Leave no task unfinished – realize the full value you seek, not just a portion of it.

[4] All value in Life – externally and internally – must be justly earned.

The road to progress and Joy is a road paved with action and deliberate effort. Finish.
